What is 'Owner Managed'?
We highlight whether an attraction is owner managed. This usually means the listing is updated more frequently. At the bottom of each listing it indicates when it was last updated.

Which areas do you cover?
Right now (July 2011) we cover England. Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland will follow.

Why do some listings contain very limited information?
We are encouraging attractions to manage their own listing and keep this up-to-date. This does mean that some listings contain only the basic information. We have not completed the details such as opening hours as this would go out of date if we had to manage it all.

For Attraction Managers

How do you make money from the site if the listings are free?
We do plan to introduce a premium subscription for attractions in the future. We intend to maintain a free listing. Right now our focus is on improving the site content and user experience.

Who made the site?
The site was founded by Dominic Sawyer. He is passionate about the web and tourism. He also runs Dot Tourism, a design and digital marketing specialist for the travel and tourism sector.
