KIDS GO FREE IN AUGUST 2010
A spectacularly sited cliff top fort which is in the care of the National Trust and has excellent views of the Needles Rocks. There is a fascinating military history brought to life in cartoons by comic book artist Geoff Campion.
Highlights include:

- Tearoom in old look-out tower with dramatic views.
- Shipwreck exhibition
- Wheelchair accessible viewing platform overlooking the Needles rocks.

At the NEEDLES NEW BATTERY there is a refreshment kiosk and a small exhibition revealing the history of the site and the part it played in Britain's 'race for spae'. Admission to the New Battery is free. Please note there are no WCs at the New Battery.
