A lovely 150 acre country park, at the centre of which stand the ruins of a 12th century abbey. Come and walk in our woods or around the lake, which is home to many ducks and waterbirds. We have a cafe, restaurant and shops. There's also a Contemporary Craft Centre with exhibitions of modern craft and art, and an exhibition on life in the original medieval monastery So don't worry even if the weather isn't good there's lots to do. Here's the good news: The park is FREE ENTRY. We just make a small charge for parking (£3 per car) at peak times. Or save money with a season ticket. See you soon!
Daily, 10.30am to 5.00pm. We only close on Christmas Day.
Free (free entry)

Fantastic!

My family has lived near Rufford for the past 7 years and we visit most weekends, in all weathers. It never ceases to amaze us from the lovely lakes, feeding the birds, wandering round the Abbey, the events throughout the year, the scrumptious food in the Restaurants and the lovely gift shops....thank you Rufford for a great deal of wonderful memories and hundreds of photos!!
