The City Museum & Records Office hosts regularly changing exhibitions alongside permanent displays such as The Story of Portsmouth and Portsmouth at Play. A Study in Sherlock: Uncovering the Arthur Conan Doyle Collection displays many extraordinary items from Lancelyn Green's collection and features interactive displays and films.
Opening information
Open daily except 24-26 December. (Please note that the Records Searchroom at the City Museum is not normally open at weekends)
April-September 10.00am-5.30pm.
October-March 10.00am-5.00pm.
Last admission 30 minutes before closing time.
Museum shop closes 15 minutes before closing time.
