Welcome to…Maidstone museums – our main Museum also housing the Queen’s Own Royal West Kent Regiment Museum is in St Faith’s Street and our Carriage Museum is in Mill Street.
Our main award- winning museum, housed in a beautiful Elizabethan manor house, is one of the best in the South- East.

Run by Maidstone Borough Council, the museum is FREE to the public and demonstrates the commitment of the council to providing first class cultural and educational facilities to everyone.
