About
Fowlmead Country Park is the newly regenerated green space on the site of the former spoiltip of Betteshanger Colliery. A 200-acre site featuring established woods, a lake and two ponds, a children's playground (opened in July 2010), a Permanent Orienteering Course, a 2-mile tarmac cycle track, mountainbike trails, a cafeteria and bike hire.
