Terrible farm

14 Apr 2011
I would not recommend this farm to anyone. It cost us £17 to enter for a family of four. The first barn, the hatching house absolutely stank, it looked as if the rabbits had not been cleaned out for a long time. You then walk out into shabby walkways to see the rest of the animals. None of the fields had been poo picked and had little grass, although some animals looked quite well others looked very poor. We were not shown around and when we tried to wash our hands in the barn the water didn't work! The childrens play area is a old metal swing. We went into the cafe and sat down to find an earwig on our table and one poor lady serving and cooking on her own, we subsequently didn't stay to eat. This in our opinion is a complete rip off and the sign said that the entry fee went someway toasted keeping the animals, I would doubt this very much looking at the state of the place. I have my own horses and animals and I would never keep them in this state, especially if I was opening to the public.
