Visitors of all ages are warmly welcomed to this Award winning art gallery. Housed in a grade I listed Robert Adam mansion, surrounded by 'Capability' Brown landscaped parkland, Compton Verney offers a memorable day out.

Explore artworks from around the world including: paintings from the 'Golden Age' of Italian art, Germanic art from 1450-1650; British portraits featuring work by Sir Joshua Reynolds and Tudor portraits; one of Europe's finest collections of Chinese bronzes; the UK's largest collection of British Folk Art and a collection of work by textile designer Enid Marx.

Be enthralled by an exciting changing programme of exhibitions, which this year includes Gainsborough's Landscapes, Flight and the Artistic Imagination and Tapestry: Weaving the Century at Dovecot Studios 1912 - 2012.

Enjoy a refreshing break in the waitress service cafe or relax outside and enjoy a picnic. You'll find plenty to do outside with our children's play area, willow tunnels and outdoor art installations.

There's also a whole host of tours and drop-in family activities for you to enjoy, included in the price of admission.
