Opened in Market Square, Chesham in October 2009, this small, volunteer run, local history museum has exhibitions illustrating Chesham's social and industrial history.
'Made in Chesham' is a collection of artefacts made in Chesham's many factories and workshops over the past 150 years, together with tools and photographs illustrating working practices and processes.
'Remember Chesham' is an eclectic collection of items reflecting everyday life in Chesham.
'Chesham at War' commemorates the contribution made by Chesham people in two world wars and 'Coming to Chesham' is a developing exhibition featuring groups of people and individuals who have made Chesham their home - even though they may have been born far away.
'Digging up the Past' features a piece of Roman mosaic from excavations at the nearby Latimer Roman villa site
Temporary exhibitions are renewed every few months - Jan-Mar 2011 features Chesham's Medieval Manor Court Rolls, and a display of replica Medieval armour. This will be followed by and exhibition about The Post Office in Chesham from April onwards.
